Ekoru®, our name and our philosophy
It is true, Ekoru® is our brand and represents our most innovative construction systems. However, Ekoru® is not just a name we chose at random: it encompasses a deep philosophy and a clear mission, which originates in the Māori culture and traditions of New Zealand and applies itself, in our world, to the search for a brighter future for the construction sector.

The name Ekoru® has its roots in the Koru, a Māori symbol that represents the Silver Fern, a plant that is much more than just an element of New Zealand’s landscape. For the Māori, this natural spiral symbolises new life force, growth and strength.
The Koru is characterised by its spiral shape, which is destined to evolve constantly, with its inner central part suggesting a return to the origin, to the roots. A spiral that stretches outwards as it grows, symbolising the search for growth and improvement, made possible by that vital force that comes from "inside", from the roots. This "dualistic link" between deep respect for one's origins and the desire for development and renewal is the fundamental life force of our company.
